Wouldn’t it have been cool to learn RACING in school? Let me play teacher for a minute. Remember in grade school when we had to learn a list of things...and the teacher came up with a memory aid to help?...like the colors in the spectrum….it was a guy’s name…ROY G. BIV…where the letters of his name stood for the first letters of the colors… Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. When white light passed through a prism it came out looking like Jeff Gordon’s “Rainbow Warriors” paint scheme.

The nine planets in order from the sun? It was a sentence where the first letter of each word was the first letter of the planet. My Very Educated Mother Just Showed Us Nine Planets…represented Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
