Audi won the 2006 and 2007 Le Mans running synthetic diesel derived from natural gas GTL (Gas to Liquid)
They won the 2008 race utilizing diesel partly derived from waste wood and forest residues (Biomass to Liquid) blended with the GTL diesel.
(Shell V-Power diesel is available at 7,000 stations in Europe)
For 2009 the R15TDI replaces the R10TDI
