Both the V8 Supercar Championship Series and the Konica V8 Supercar Series are based on modified versions of Australia’s popular Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon cars. The “Automobile Racing Club of America” is a high octane, fast-paced series regarded as a stepping stone to the NASCAR Sprint Cup series for American “stock” cars.
