This is what it’s all about, and it’s come right down to the wire. It’s a rush to get all the parts assembled and the cars ready for the final thrash.

Skunk 2 plays with paint, FocusSport works on the interior, and Fireballed! installs more body parts.

Street Tuner stops in to look how the brakes installation is going on the Fit, and the wheels and tires go on the Mustang. The GTI team works on their paint job.

Skunk 2 works the body, FocusSport changes the exhaust, and Fireballed! installs the steering wheel and pedals.

The GTI team has a blast with audio installation which the others get down under with exhaust, piping and suspension.

Skunk 2 works on suspension and bushing, FocusSport smooths its ride, while Fireballed! focuses on the intake manifold and intercooler.

The teams feel the pressure of the competition. The Fit is painted, the Mustang team works on the suspension and interior, while the GTI team gets cocky with their Dyno tuning.

Two teams focus on Turbos while the inside of the Mustang gets some special attention.

Skunk 2 focuses on mounting plates, FocusSport installs turbo, intercooler, fuel injection, and plumbing, while Fireballed!  paints their vehicle.

The GTI is hitting it hard on the brakes while the Mustang upgrades its rear end.

Skunk 2 gets engine help before tear down, FocusSport rebuilds the transmission and installs the engine, while Fireballed! makes a mini Mini.

Team Skunk 2 works the exterior of its car, FocusSport works the interior, and Fireballed starts a unique body kit.

The season begins as the main players familiarize themselves with their challenge vehicle and dive into the tear down.

GM fabricates a roll cage for the Cobalt.  The Skyline gets a body kit.  Work begins on the Jetta suspension.
