• GP2 Championship Series

  • GP2, introduced in 2005 to replace Formula 3000, is designed to an affordable training ground for Formula One. GP2 has made it mandatory for all of the teams to use the same chassis, engine and tire supplier so that true driver ability is reflected as opposed to who has the better technology.
