• FIA World Touring Car Championship

  • The WTCC has established itself as a major presence on the global motorsport scene and is now considered the third most important FIA championship after Formula One and the World Rally Championship. Strong manufacturer support, 20 races, packed grids (30+ cars) and take-no-prisoners action result in constant entertainment and excellent close racing action. With rounds at major prestigious circuits, the series is heavily supported by car manufacturers BMW and Chevrolet. Engines are limited to 2000 cc. Many technologies that have featured in production cars are not allowed, including ABS brakes and traction control system.
