2008 Top Fuel Funny Car Champion Cruz Pedregon visits both schools. El Camino dynos their motor and Ramona is dealt an unexpected loss.

Both schools put the race car progress on hold and visit Cruz Pedregon and Clay Millican at the Auto Club of Southern California’s NHRA Finals.

In the season two opener we meet the two California high schools who have twelve weeks to build a drag car. Head judge and six-time top fuel champ Clay Millican meets the new teams.

El Camino High struggles to find sponsors as the Ramona students focus on building their car. A prank by one team jeopardizes the entire show.

The pranksters say they’re sorry for their actions; the teams race Junior Dragsters.

Midway through the challenge both schools struggle to stay focused. A couple of the students are kicked off the team as mid-term grades loom.

With the competition half over, head judge Clay Millican assesses both teams’ progress. The teams get their midterm grades.

Judge Tim Miranda makes his first visit to both schools. Wildfires threaten to slow El Camino High School’s progress while Ramona High School continues to march forward.

After twelve weeks of hard work and late nights, both schools bring their completed cars to the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, to settle it all on the track.

The teams put the finishing touches on their race cars and prepare to meet for their final exam.
