Kyle Petty: "Spend more money, how in God's name can we spend more money, we are already paying for fourteen freaking nights in Daytona because the hotels are jamming you like that. What are you going to do; I am already paying for that!"
John Roberts: "You can pay more to let these guys shine one more time. We heard from one guy last night in the pit crew competition, he said he wishes they could do this thing three or four times a year."
Bob Pockrass: "I am good with once a year. Once a year is fine, I see him 36 times a year or on TV or at the race track. One special event, if you did it four times you would water it down, right."
Kyle Petty: "I just want to thank all the crew members for coming out one time a year and doing their jobs, thank you very much sir!"
Bob Pockrass: "That was a little bit harsh here on Tradin' Paint. It is a special event. Do you want four all-star races a year; you want four Bud Shootouts a year?"
Kyle Petty: "You are the one who wanted to put the Busch guys with the cup guys, what do you want?"
Bob Pockrass: "You only have Christmas once a year."
Bob Pockrass: "I bet your kids too, you would buy them all sorts of gifts."
Kyle Petty: "That’s what I'm talking about, no taxes, but Christmas every quarter baby."
John Roberts: "Nonetheless, I think we all agree that these crewmembers are some of the best athletes anywhere in professional sports, and they got their chance to showcase themselves last night. Congratulations to the number 83 red bull team for winning that race, and they will get their chance tomorrow night to shine again under the lights on speed."
