Are you looking forward to the outdoors?

Yeah, definitely. It’s a new championship and a new opportunity, and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been testing outdoors, and the bikes are great. The team’s been doing a great job with getting the bike set up and getting it all ready. We’ve got some good stuff, so I’m really looking forward to getting out there. Hopefully, we can come out swinging and end up on top.

There’s a bit of a tradition for Lites SX champs to fail to win the East/West Shootout in Las Vegas. Last year, you were the spoiler. Do you have plans on doing that again?

Yeah, there are definitely some bragging rights there, but I don’t know why that happens. I don’t know if it’s cursed or what. I think it’s probably more of a fun race -- not that racing isn’t usually fun, but there are no points involved so it’s just about winging it, and the best guy out there’s going to win. There are a little bit of bragging rights, and you win a great truck, so you can put it on your record of achievements, so that’s good, too.

Do you still have your truck from last year?

I just got it about a month ago.

So, you might have two trucks. Can I have your other truck?

You don’t need two trucks! You can only drive one at a time, you know...
