In the Lites class, can anyone stop Trey Canard? Canard has won the first two Eastern Lites main events of the year -- and of his career. Last weekend, in Indianapolis, he was pressured early on by Lites hero Ryan Villopoto. Will Villopoto be able to step it up and beat Canard? It’s a must-win race for Villopoto if he wants to hold onto any hope of winning the East Championship, as he sits 28 points down to Canard with only five races to run.

What about Josh Grant? Canard’s teammate Grant has finished second at Daytona twice, in 2005 and 2006. Can he find the extra speed to come away the winner this Friday night?

One thing’s for sure, the racing is going to be exciting. If you can’t make it there to watch live, or would rather just stay inside and stay dry, the Daytona Supercross starts on SPEED at 11 p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT).
