In the Pro Expert Twins race points leader, Brandon Robinson overcame a shaky start to take his White’s Harley-Davidson / Iron Valley Harley-Davidson to the win, leading the last nine laps of the 10-lap race. Aprilia USA / A&A Racing / Rod Lake’s Chad Cose is the only rider to beat Robinson this year and he was able to keep Robinson honest, but he just couldn’t get his 550 Aprilia past Robinson XR-750 Harley-Davidson.

Bill Werner Racing / Woessner Pistons’ Brock Schwarzenbacher worked his way into the last podium spot as he passed the Dave Burk’s Motorsports’ Suzuki of Michael Kirkness on lap 4, but he remained over four seconds off the lead.

Cose’s Aprilia USA teammate James Rispoli was able to grab fourth from Kirkness on lap eight and that set the final top five.

The AMA Flat Track Twin Championship points standings have once again closed up as Kenny Coolbeth’s lead has been cut to seven over Joe Kopp with today’s winner Bryan Smith just one point short of Kopp. Chris Carr is sitting in fourth with Sammy Halbert in fifth. Halbert failed to make the National, finishing third in his semi.

Brandon Robinson’s five wins in six races leaves him with a 46-point lead over Brady Mueller (7th today). The only other winner in the series, Chad Cose, is third four points back of Mueller. James Rispoli and Austin Greenland round out the top five.
