Tony Stewart won the 400 Coca-Cola Zero in Daytona this weekend and it was one to remember!
In Daytona anything is possible and Stewart Hass racing came out on top. Tony Stewart now leads the point standings by 180 points over Jeff Gordon. It was a hot, rainy, and did I say HOT weekend! This weekend marks the first time we have been back to a track this year and the fans didn’t let a little Florida heat keep them own. Darrel Waltrip made a special visit back to TrackSide Live and the boys were at it again Sunday for RaceDay. Kenny was nice enough to spray the fans with bottled water to help them cool down
This week we travel back to my territory-the Midwest! Chicago land here we come! More night racing under the lights!
Make sure to stop by and say hi!!
Cheers!

I must say my excitement over this weekend win in CRAZY!
Naturally I believe it was my good luck hug I gave driver of the #20
can Joey Logano when he came to the SPEED Stage for a PRN interview
that gave him the extra kick to win the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at
New Hampshire Motor Speedway. My teammates and others may disagree,
something about good pit stop choices, rain and luck…but I know the
truth! Logano is the youngest driver to ever win a race- the kid is
just over 19 years old!
The legends of the “ Visit the SPEED Stage and you will finish well”
continue! I was talking to Heather after Joey won, she and I agreed
that we will have to take a look back at all of our visitors and then
look at how they finished. With out looking at any statistics I am
willing to bet that on any given Sunday, the drivers who visit have a
better top 5 finish than those who don’t. Spread the news….its good
luck to come and visit the SPEED Road Tour Team!
Now we are heading back to Daytona, the Mecca of racing. Will July 4th
bring us another Joey win? Only time will tell! Will we see you there?
Make sure to stop by fanatics, I know there will be a lot of
returnee’s so bring your booklets back for your prizes!
Until next week!
Cheers

It was so picturesque in the hills of Sonoma California, the weather was a beautiful 85 degrees and sunny and NASCAR’s “most beautiful” driver took home his first road coarse win! Naturally I am talking about Kasey Khane and the #9 Budweiser car.
My dad and sister flew out with me to spend fathers day in Cali. SPEED was also celebrating fathers day by having a SPEED into Fathers Day promotion. Mr. Christianson was the lucky dad! He was a seat in Joey Lagono’s pit box, hot passes and VIP treatment from the SPEED Channel.
Kenny wasn’t able to make it for Race Day but we had Hermie fill in and the show was a great success. The fans were so great! You guys gave no only my teammates and I a great welcome but the boys of Race Day as well!
Hope all Fathers had a great Fathers Day! Off the NH we go!!
-Cheers!

Mark- the kid- Martin won the LifeLock 400 in the Sprint Cup Series on Sunday! You can teach old dog new tricks! This was his third victory and eighth top-10 finish in 2009. The 2 mile track only had 3 cautions and in the end Tony Stewart still has the lead in points.
I was back home and was so excited to see my family and friends out at MIS! The crowds were insane and as always super pumped to join us at the SPEED stage. Fridays show was awesome! We had Brian Scott and Jeff Burton join us and then Race Day was at full throttle with special guest Kid Rock who stopped in!
Heather and I did the Cheerio’s Health Walk, it was so cool to be on the track just hours before all the drivers would be going 200 mph right where we were standing…I think Hbomb would agree, the banking doesn’t look that steep, until you try to run up it!
The weather couldn’t have been more amazing and I met a ton of wonderful people who, even suffering through tough economic times, were out ready to race!
I know some of you said you were making it to the Cali race next week, make sure you stop by!
We are heading back to Miz’s territory on the west coast!
See you soon!
Cheers!

Its tricky trick tricky!
To Pocono PA we went for one of NASCAR’s most unique speedways. Friday started off with a little rain but you the fans made it out for TRACKSIDE Live! With special guests Jeff Gordon, Casey Mears and now taking over for D.W. is Elliot Sadler! It was a packed show to say the least. Something funny that happened Friday as well was Michael Waltrip giving out Kenny Wallace’s phone number by accident on national TV, which lead to funny back -and –forth commentary between them all weekend. Kenny got a new phone number, thankfully, and didn’t end up giving out Waltrip’s (as he did promised) on NASCAR Race Day. We were all a little bummed not to get Michael’s digits.
The race was just a unique as the track with Denny Hamlin’s car breaking down just after lap 1. Smoke ended coming from the back for the pack in his back up car and took home the win. “ If I knew my back up can was this good, I would have wrecked my primary car the first chance I got” This was how confident Tony was about how his back up car was running.
Who will be the winner in Michigan this weekend? I know JR nation is hoping for a repeat…could this be his time?! We shall see as we roll to the home of the Motor City.
As a born and raised Michigan girl I cant wait to get to MIS! Stop by the stage and say hi! Ill be cheering for my Detroit Red Wings…and my favorite driver …GO JOEY #20 Home Depot Car!!!
Cheers!

I’m still Soaked!
Well as you all know it was the 24 hour Coca Cola 600 marathon this weekend. Slated as a Memorial Day WEEKEND race it turned into a Memorial DAY race.
We started out the festivities with beautiful weather in Uptown Charlotte, with Trackside Live right in the middle of Speed Streets. I must say a genuine thanks to everyone who joined us! It was an amazing show because of all the excitement you guys had! Jimmy Johnson was on the whole show and was nice enough to brave the crowd and sign tons of autographs! Saturday was business as usual with the filming of NASCAR Smarts. We had contest winners from ASK.com paired up with Rutledge and Kyle Petty…..then the rain came…..and NEVER stopped!!! Sunday we were soaked to the bone but that didn’t stop the over 160,000 fans from enjoying the 50th running of the 600. PRN stopped by and had so many guests, there was something for everyone. Even thought Mother Nature wasn’t on the side of the race fan, you guys were ready for a good time!
Thanks to all the die-hards out there! You guys made our weekend!
Dover Dover Dover is next! See you Friday!
Cheers!

Fireworks at the ALL-STAR Race!
#14-Tony Stewart won the 25th Running of the All Star race in the NASCAR capitol of Charlotte N.C. on Saturday night! Passing Matt Kenseth with 2 laps to go, to capture his first All-Star race victory, it was a thriller for everyone who watched. The night couldn’t have been more perfect for a 100 shoot out with the best of NASCAR out to take home the one million dollar prize.
Hornish Jr. and McMurray raced their way in and it was my FAVORITE driver #20 Joey Logano who won the fan vote and finished 8th over all. I would like to think that me voting for him on SPEEDtv.com every day had something to do with it
My team and I had a packed week starting with NASCAR Rev’d Up that featured OAR in a free concert uptown on Wednesday, the Pit Crew Challenge Thursday, which let us into the weekend at Lowes Motor Speedway. The best past was the extra special glitz and glamour that was put into the week of All Star. SPEED was the only channel that broadcasted every moment and I couldn’t have had more fun for my first ALL Star weekend. If you haven’t been to one yet….3 words for you….NEXT YEARS VACATION!
See you this weekend in Charlotte again for the 50th running of the Coca Cola 600!!
Cheers

The rumors are true! If you come to the Speed Stage and do an interview you will finish well! This has been a trend for several of the drivers that have come through to visit, case and point this weekend was Tony Stewart! Tony stopped by this weekend for Trackside Live Friday night. Qualifying in 31st position he quickly moved up in the field and had a neck-to-neck finish with Jimmy Johnson, finishing second and taking the lead in points. They must be doing something right over at Stewart/Hass Racing!
Dover was one of our most excited and loud crowds! You guys had to be told my Larry Mc to take cover when the terrible weather was rolling in, even then you guys braved the elements and cheered on your hosts Friday night. Sunday was no different with a huge crowd that was ready to see if the Monster could be tamed. Tires weren’t as much as an issue as the day before but the Monster was, as expected, a true test!
Pocono is next what will this triangle of a speedway hold in store!? Time will tell!
See in you PA! And as a good girl from DETROIT! I must say, even though I will be in Pennsylvania this weekend, Ill still be wearing my Red Wings gear….even if Brad Keselowski ( also from Detroit) and I have to take on the entire state, one thing is for sure…the Wings will win another Cup! GO WINGS!
Cheers!

Mark Martin won the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway for his 2nd win this year! 50 years old is the new 20! His experience proved to be enough to Tame the Lady in Black!
Our weekend was exciting with NASCAR Smarts featuring a special show down. Jeff Hammond and Hermie Sadler were standing in for Kyle Petty and Rutledge. There was some trash talk going on before the show! As the rain was pouring down the boys defiantly game the fans an reason the watch. Hammond ended up taking home the win but it was a face off that wont soon be forgotten!
All Star week is here and I can’t wait to be in Charlotte for two weeks! We have a crazy line up for “Rev’d Up!” including a free concert by OAR, the 2009 Pit Crew Challenge and it all ends with the All Star Race! But don’t forget just few days later the 50 year anniversary running of the Coca Cola 600! Talk about a dream week! Don’t for get that you can vote your favorite driver into the race, and while on the internet check out the “Catch the Race, Catch the Cash” promo SPEED is doing. You could win $25,000!!!
Make sure you stop by the stage and come see us Uptown!
Cheers!

It was a Kyle Busch weekend extravaganza as he won the Crown Royal “Russ Friedman” 400 at Richmond International Raceway this weekend! It was his 24th birthday and as a nice present, he also won the Nationwide race on Friday night. Tony Stewart finished second after a trip to the SPEED Stage where he was interviewed by MRN Radio. I think it has become evidence that if you visit the stage before a race it is good luck!
The race was full of excitement as there were 15 cautions and 21 lead changes among 8 different drivers. My teammates and I were all on the edge of our seats cheering for our picks! Our boss came away with the win choosing Kyle. I am still winless so fell free to stop by the stage and give me some advice…. help me get into the win column!
I wanted to say thanks to all the fans that stuck it out in the rain with us! Nothing says “ I love Racing” like during a massive downpour looking out and still seeing hundreds of people cheering their hearts out! I can’t wait for the weeks to come, the Darlington night race, then the BIG show is coming to Charlotte, All Star and the 600! Make sure you keep up with all the info at SPEEDtv.com and stop by the stage to collect all the awesome things we are giving away to make sure you are ready for the race!
(If you haven’t yet, check out the “Catch the race, Catch the Cash promo, and score your self so cash just for being a super fan!!)
Cheers!

Talladega!!!!
The weekend was hot, crazy, and had a very exciting ending!
We started out with a NASCAR smarts taping where the two contestants were chosen by an ASK.COM trivia promotion. The best part…. they have a chance to win $100,000! But that’s not the only cash contest going on right now, play daily for your chance to win $250 in the Catch the Race, Catch the Cash promo SPEEDtv.com is doing! Who doesn’t love free money!?
Trackside was crazy as always with special guests Gordon, Harvick, Waltrip! It was so exciting to see all the fans that were PUMPED to see their favorite drivers! Sunday morning was yet another BEAUTIFUL sun filled Alabama day and MRN at Full Speed was at the stage to interview Brian Vickers, Mike Helton and Clint Bowyer. But the most exciting of all was the big race!
The #09-Brad Keselowski won the Aaron’s 499 at Talladega Superspeedway and what a finish it was. Watching it with my teammates a load roar came over the entire crowd as the #99-Edwards car went air born and crashed into the fence. For all of you that have seen the crash I’m sure you felt the same sigh of relief as Carl jumped out of his stockcar and ran across the finish line.
Ill be recovering from my sunburn for the next few days, I hope the weather in Richmond is just as nice!
See you back on the East Coast!
Cheers!

Hey Everyone!
Just an update, I wont be making it to AZ but never fear! I am sending my dear friend Mike out to take my place for a weekend. You will love this guy...he is CRAZY fun! Yes I know, there will now be 3 Mikes on stage but it will make it easier to remember them, when in doubt, just yell...MIKE!
Talk to you soon!
Cheers!!

Texas Texas Texas!
It was my first time in the lone star state and I must say, my team and I had a BLAST!
We started the weekend off right with ribs and some good ol’ Texas BBQ! For those of you who made it out Friday night to Trackside LIVE can attest, it was a CRAZY good time! The fans were so high energy that it was one of my favorite Trackside filmings yet.
Saturday my teammates and I took in the Nationwide race, and when we arrived at the track Sunday at about 7am there were already people at the stage waiting for the David Ragan, Elliott Sadler, Jeff Gordon and Eddie Gossage interview on PRN UP to Speed. They were almost frozen solid as an ice cube but once those boys took the stage I have never seen smiles so big! Gordon shared some stories about break dancing that were really funny and I believe that the fans that came out for hours in the cold were his good luck charm! The #24 car took home the victory Sunday in his first win since 2007! In our friendly team contest that we have weekly our boss took home the winning bet with the 24 car! Ill get a win one of these days! If you guys have any insider info, let a girlfriend know!
Texas, I can’t wait to come back! See you in a few weeks!
Cheers!!

Hello everyone!
With the weather not being a friend to the fans it rained relentlessly all Friday and Saturday. We managed to get in our tapings of NASCAR Smarts, NASCAR Performance and Trackside Live (even thought it was run on TV later that night.) NASCAR Smarts was very entertaining since a husband and wife team was chosen. They contestants were great sports considering they were soaked to the bone! The wife was on team Kyle Petty and pulled out the win! Sunday came around and though it was raining in the morning the sun finally showed up and it was BEAUTIFUL for NASCAR Race Day! Who could ask for anything better than 70 degrees and full sun!? Tons of fans came out and as usual you never know what will happen with Jimmy, Kenny and Jon Roberts on stage. We had the good fortune of Joey Logano stopping by for a visit, what a cutie
As usual my farmers tan is getting darker and darker by the day, I call it my the SPEED fanatic tan and let me tell you, there is nothing like rocking a tank top with a red neck and red arms!! A small price to pay for having a sweet job, don’t you agree?! If you think you can beat mine, stop by the stage and we can compare!
Every week my Speed Road Tour Team and I guess whom we think I going to win the race, Heather won with a pick of Jimmy. What an exciting race! I had Bowyer so I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Gotta love the ½ mile tracks!
Who will get the win in Texas? I guess we will find out soon!
Cheers!
Arlie
