Robin Miller is entertaining and very knowledgeable and I enjoy listening and watching him on W.T.
His obvious expertise (and bias) is in Open Wheel racing, but every time he speaks about NASCAR, NHRA, F-1 ect. he makes honest, and sometimes non P.C.( which is SO refreshing),solid points.
So why he does not have a full time gig on W.T. or his OWN show is beyond me..
Here's the irony to me..
Jimmy Spencer, Kenny Wallace, (although, I do like Kenny in the right context)
brother Rusty and Will Castro are on freakin' TV EVERY WEEK! go figure.....
PS I thought Kyle Petty was AWESOME on the TV this weekend.
I'd like to see Kyle and Robin call a Cup race!

It's obvious. He's not a ballwasher....... I'm sure the network suits get heartburn every time Robin starts a yarn.....suits claim to have to please the sponsors, not the audience. Many have long and growing noses.

PS, I'd love to see a tape of the conversation between RM and Ganassi on the private flight back from the race last weekend. grin

i find robin rather irritating, like a kazoo, and not really that knowledgeable. he talks a lot about drivers, but doesn't have a clue about the cars, or the technical side of the sport. and i like my tv personalities with a bit more class and nuance. i'd rather gordon kirby, dave philips, or jeff olson got a show instead. actually, how about all 3, or even add miller to make it a foursome?...

Robin's thing is AOWR. Keep him away from F1! So given that the IRL is going underground next year, maybe Robin can get a talk show on Versus.

I think the IRL on Versus is going to be like some sort of bad public access TV experiment (though I could easily be wrong), so I think they could call his show Robin's World. All he needs is some sort of zany sidekick. Can Robin play an electric guitar?

A zany sidekick? How about Don Cherry when the hockey season isn't going down? Two of a kind who tell it like it is and don't pull any punches. Cherry got my respect when he threatened the coach who was charged with being a predator and ruining a hockey player by calling him out when he got out of prison. And he told the world what a piece of crap he was. It seems child predator was watching the show with his prison inmates and had a very rough time after that show. Deservedly so.

The tell it like it is guys may annoy those who dream of a warm and fuzzy world, but racing is far from warm and fuzzy off the camera. If he was doing F1 do you think Max would still be there? wink Robin may have embarassed him back to a little wooden hut in the Black Forest in his little tights waiting to be spanked.

I tire of the shiny, happy people with little but the obvious to overstate. Robin is old school, the new school is boring, bland and hard to swallow, sort of like pure fiber.

If it takes Verses to get him what he deserves, so be it, but a word of warning.....it 's a Comcast owned channel and no one does it worse than Comcast IF it happens to come on correctly. We've missed many a hockey game cuz they can't figure out where blackouts are supposed to occur.....they have a bunch of stumps running the channel.

i think Miller will get a show. But never on a Fox owned network. He'll get it on Versus with the Indy guy even if against Tony George's wish. Versus i think has the guts to do it unlike Speed.

Miller should have a show on nothing but AOW racing.

He deserves it. The viewers deserve it. AOW racing deserves it.

Robin is like Steven Colbert to Dave's John Stewart, so he should absolutely have a show after windtunnel.
