GET RID OF THE REALITY SHOWS!!!!!!
If your not willing to get rid of them, then i say create a new channel SPEED2 (MTV -> MTV2)
So we MOTORSPORT fans can actually watch some RACING!!!
Back in the good ol' days when this channel use to be Speedvision, they use to show racing all week long, i remember coming home from school to watch 4-6 hours of WRC onboard stage cameras from each driver.
What has happen to America recently? people seem to like these reality shows that are a bunch of scripted..... you get the point.
BRING BACK WRC! and start showing FULL endurance races!!!!
Less "shows"… more motorsports!

Interesting analogy. Remember when MTV used to play music videos? Then MTV2? Now they're both full of reality shows. Sound familiar?

The record industry thought it was doing the right thing pushing pablum as well.
These "reality shows" are entertaining in the sense that the faux drama is inadvertantly amusing. My wife, who knows nothing of cars and racing, thinks all of the "drama" funny if we happen upon the channel. Speedtv's portrayal of "Car Culture" is cartoonish and sort of like wrestling.
Meanwhile, there's this enormous disenfranchised population of car fans that have nothing to watch on tv. In my town there's been a sudden upsurge in sportbikes; why not re-run bike races, that has to cost less than some of these silly shows... or Supercar races, LMS, whatever *real* content?

... to name a few things I'd rather see, and would certainly watch, in place of Pinks, NOPI, etc.
WindTunnel, F1 Debrief and other genuine shows that are about racing/vehicles (Victory by Design) should stay.
I absolutely agree! But I thought that Victory By Design had been gone for awhile. I don't know, since Speed lost its place on my Favorites List last year after they dropped Autoline Detroit.
Speed seems to now go for the cheaply produced reality shows that mostly appeal to the post MTV (Real World) and Jerry Springer generation.

Please get rid of all the dumb ass reality shows I know that they're cheap to make, and return a huge profit but I don't watch Speed the way I used to. The only thing I watch now is F-1, LeMans, ans ALMS. Sooner or later the brainiacs at Fox will figure out that if you alienate your audience you won't have one. Show more and varied motorsports and let me up from SCRAPCAR!

Get rid of the Wrecked, Livin the Low Life, Pimp my Ride, Unique Whips and Drag Race High. Show more Classic NASCAR. And not 2006 Classic. I mean 1997 classics.

You mean you don't get enough NASCAR with the 150 hours a week speed shows now? We don't need no more stinkin' NASCAR. Victory by Design, Goodwood, Monterey historics...how about Classic F1 races or CART etc.
