Both shows suck

Especially the announcer. Would rather see something like Powerblock on Spike where we can actually learn something. Failing that, how about some SCCA rallying, hillclimbs (Pikes Peak, etc), LSR (land speed racing), offroad racing, motorcycle trials, open road racing, or 5th Gear and Top Gear from the BBC. There is a myriad of autosports that y'all don't even come close to covering.

#### how I long for "Speedvision", and for the record I also think that Launch Hour stinks as well as Pinks, Unique Whips,etal.

I bought into Speedvision 1-2yrs before it became SPEED or what I like to call it Crap and NASCAR Channel.
I would have to agree with CaptJoe on this one. All the other forms of racing and this is the best you can do for me

Get rid of the crappy shows!! PLEASE. I Love NASCAR but also other forms of racing...and I would like to see the Pikes Peak race as I saw that years ago...wild stuff.

Why do you constantly talk down to us!! The one thing people want is racing. I understand you have to have some sort of mix, but the garbage speed has put out the last 3 years is unbelievable. Texas hardtails, Nascar drivers wives going to the mall, I want to date a racecar driver, tunervision ricer crap, now this???? There are so many other forms of racing that we would rather see. Yet you constantly defend speeds bad decisions......

Ok...let me rephrase that...I know they can not have racing 24/7 but how about race related shows!! About the history of the sport or featuring different drivers currently in F1, IRL etc so we can get to know them better?
As opposed to reality and junk shows with girls in bikini or some show that was allegedly about fans traveling to see who was the biggest NASCAR fan or somethin?
Between some of the trashy commercials and tv shows, I could understand how folks would not want SPEED on with kids in the room these days.
The stuff on SPEED is just junk. Oh and sorry but I also did not like the HOURS AND HOURS of auction shows. :? Nor am I a fan of the Celebrity Poker that is ALL over tv these days...including espn. :?:

If I had to pick one of the 2 show I'd rather see "Blow it up" continue (personally I have no use for gameshows).
The title has promise, testing to DESTRUCTION ! YES.... I wanna see pistons blowing out of the block, a gallon of oil on the track, the works.
Rubber is a consumable just like gas, oil and water. Burnouts, consume a lot of rubber, so no more disqualifications on flat tires!
As another poster suggested, make the format fixed.
Show the gauges your computer program uses to calculate the blowup index, as an overlay in a corner of the screen. I want to see the revs, and temps climb.
After the last scheduled run, if they haven't blown up the engine, then nose up to a wall and burnout till it engine melts down, or blows up! Just like the title promises.
I hope you can find sponsors that will give both of the entertainers / competitors something for their efforts.
