Okay, so I thought this might be fun...

We're going to see how long it takes us to reach 10,000 replies to this thread.

Rules:

1: You can't post twice in a row
2: You have to actually say something...any kind of coherent thought works, but it can't be just letters and numbers and something to take up space.

Ready?

Something else unique and entertaining... wink

For some reason when the new boards came up, the first post was posted twice, so I've fixed it (on request) so I won't be stoned to death.

DVR is your friend. I watch the recorded version starting with just a small delay from the live version. With an infant and two women in the house -- none of whom have ANY respect for televised sports and the people who watch them -- it keeps me from having to do harm to any of them.

i feel your pain. Just watched the game with 3 women. i couldn't believe i actually engaged with them in a conversation about who was better looking. Eli Peyton or Brady..

I mean seriously. How did they trap me into that one????

I asked them to shut up once someone said, "what are they doing, why didn't they tackle him?"

TiVo is great, but I normally watched the Superbowl for the commercials just as much as for the game. In fact, this morning, I'm searching for the commercials to watch since the game was ad-free where I watched it.

Funny, I went to a F1 viewing party last year, the guys wouldn't shut up so I could hear the race. Had to give them the evil eye.....

Formulaefan does lot live in Cricket bat land, but I hear that she carries a mean tire iron.

I hate SuperBowl parties and haven't gone to any in years. I want to watch the game, not socialize.
