This thread contains contact information for organized F1 Fan Groups (denoted with *) and for businesses which show F1 races, or will at least host gatherings. If you know of some place showing F1 races where you live, please post that information here, and I’ll add it to the list. I’ll try to update this first post with any new additions on a regular basis.

Hi all. Newbie here from San Jose California; although I have been an F1 fan since my youger days, McLaren fan. Does anyone know of any good F1 "clubs" in which to watch the races at in the SF Bay Area? I heard Bob Varsha and the announcement teams speak of clubs meeting to view the races, but i don’t recall mention of one in Northern CA. If anybody knows of one that would be great! thanks.

I have never watched a race with these guys, but I know one of the guys posted on here a few times last year. http://www.sff1.com/
I know they watch the races tape delayed most of the time.

There is a big F1 party for the opener in the San Francisco East Bay at Ricky’s in San Leandro. All ages welcome and no cover charge. The night will also be a benefit for the Oakland Firefighters Random Acts of Kindness. A silent auction with some cool race items will raise money for them. The party starts at 7pm with live music from The Hoo. Free wifi for true F1 geeks. Bring your laptop!

That info was given to me by someone who posted at the old forum to inform the community that Rock Bottom was willing to host F1 parties, or something like that. I don’t really remember…

Fyi, the Thirsty Parrot Garage is a traveling F1 party. We’ve held parties in Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Elkhart Lake, Greenwich CT, Hollister CA, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Sag Harbor NY, Scottsdale, Sea Cliff NY, Tulsa and Wichita. For our finale this year, we’re planning to host a Brazilian event in Miami. If anyone’s interested, let me know.
