I stand corrected, I was thinking he came in mid season in replacement for Webber. But what I was really remembering about Kaz that came mid 2007 for Wurz

Wurz was not replaced mid season by Kaz. He replaced Wurz for the season finale in Brazil.

I predict Nico will consistently beat Shumi in a car setup by Shumi. I could be wrong and Shumi has a little still left in the tank, but I'm afraid his best contribution will be car development and putting sponsors on the car. wink

Good one for Nico - before a driver can beat the rest of the grid, he has to be willing to beat his teammate. This will be interesting, at any rate.

Agreed!!! Of everyone on the field I think that Nico is best positioned and has the best temperament of anyone on the grid to be a solid teammate to Schui without bowing his head. He is gracious, well spoken and knows that although he will be the teammate of the all mighty Michael Schumacher he will be the first who doesn't have to let him by. I think it will be a great pairing.

At the very least, I appreciate the fact that Rosberg's story has not changed with the circumstances. From what I've seen, he has given exactly one reason for leaving Williams, and that was because he wanted to win races. Now that Schumacher may be his teammate, he's still saying essentially the same thing: that he intends to win races. Eyes on the prize, and all that. I like it.

It will be really interesting seeing just how fast Schumie is. I think he will be as competitive as the car will allow. For sure Brawn will not have the advantage they had at the beginning of last year, and both Michael and Nico will have more to worry about than each other.

At the beginning of the race season all the "Good drivers" say as follow: "I'm not the number two driver".hmmmmm....
Nico sounds like Koby before he starts at McLaren rolleyes

He actually reminded me of Nelson Piquet Jr before Fernando used him as a mope. Has M Schumacher brought him the copy of Ruben's old contract with the names crossed out?

Kovy sucked and earned the #2 spot brilliantly without any assistance.

Funny thing about Ferrari's #2 driver pulling over and/or "doing everything he could" to let Schumacher take maximum points -- there were occasions when Schumacher let his team mate win an occasional race. You know, the way Bruce McLaren and Dennis Hulme traded wins in the Can-Am.

Nico Rosberg

In English. He's saying of Nick Heidfeld and Michael Schumacher he chooses Michael to be his team-mate. And that it would be challenging but that he has absolutely no fear of comparison to Schumacher.

It's a good interview - I recommend you read it all.

Santa Claus... Schnaps... Keke?
