I'm not sure how you can get one but, they are always giving IndyCar two-seater rides there.

I was able to catch the Danica / JR Motorsports press conference today. Couple of things I found interesting:

1) Danica still referred to the Indy 500 as the 'biggest race in the world', which I found interesting in a Nascar press conference. Sorry Daytona, lol!

2) Tony Sr. said that Danica ran for over 4 hours w/ only one break out of the car and that other teams are testing at Disney this week and that Danica ran as fast or faster last week than anyone else has ran this week. Good for her.

^ As a racing fan, primarily NASCAR and IndyCar, I'd agree with her on that one, Indy still is the biggest race in the world.

That second part really doesn't mean much of anything...track and weather conditions, not to mention having, or not having a good set up could play a big difference in times between the two weeks...we really won't know how she does until she is running with other drivers at the same time, and in the same conditions...

Of course you are correct in general. But it was good to see that she wasn't way OFF the pace.

I'm always amazed at how many people immediately jump up and point out "That doesn't mean anything." Of course there are variables, but test times always mean something, in some way. If they didn't, then why would any team do any testing at any point out side of the season when there wasn't a track full of cars. Yet, when allowed, every top team tests even when they're the only car on the track. Teams find validity in it.

I imagine that when she got there the car was set-up pretty well to begin with. Then the tweaking starts. With Eury Sr. and Jr., they probably figured out what it needed to go fast.

I am glad I don't go into the NASCAR garage anymore....... it was a disaster before and now it will be total and utter chaos. The crowd around her trailer will make Jr's seem like the county fair.

God help them if they put them next to each other! Do they do hot and cold pits anymore in NASCAR?
