I appreciate your reply, and thank you for clarifying some of your points. I am very involved in the PAO property, and due to volume here at SPEEED, its a challenge to consistently answer everyone's questions...
I can't answer the particular issue with Summit's registration because I'm not familiar with the system they utilized. If you want, please come over to the MySPEED PINKS All Out Forum and PM me and I'll get your question and problem to Bill Bader and the folks over at Summit Motor Sports Park.
Beleive me, the issues you went through in sign up aren't unique, but definitely raises points that we need to think about in the future. Racer registration has been something we've wrestled with internally as how we can best proceed. The instant volume has been a challenge, and something we've been trying to overcome while still providing instant feedback on the process.

Pro85fiero:Dave could you please respond to post #54
Before hurling accusations and making false claims, you need to understand the facts...
There were more the 9,000 people trying to log onto PAO registration at Summit Motorsports Park in a five-minute span. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY that the Norwalk phone system could handle that volume. In fact, their entire phone system shut down for an hour during that period of time. There were two newspaper articles form the area talking about the shut down.
No positions were filled prior to registration, and neither Summit Motorsports Park or SPEED have any reason to ever have them filled prior. Just because YOU and 8,500 others didn't get in, doesn't mean we have an agenda to only register a select group of people.
Honestly, why would registration be put online if we've already figured out whom we want in the show?

Well, we have heard from the "ABNORMAL LOSER" (aka:Cerino Devoti) once again. Look I know that your Indy cars are not going in circles at this time and that you are board right now. But can't you find something else to do like go back to pounding your meat and dreaming about being man enough to go down a dragstrip. All of your two cents (and it don't even add up to that) that you have put into this forum are absolutely useless. You strike me as some queer yuppie a$$hole who arm-chairs everything in life because he thinks he knows what he is talking about. Knowing, experiencing and actually doing are ALL a far cry from thinking you know. You are a regular Cliff Clavin straight from the set of Cheers. You also strike me as the one who was most likely to have his head slammed into a locker in school then grew up and now drives a Mercedes, Porsche or Volvo because it makes him appear as if he's got balls! I can tell you are clueless and ball-less and if you ever did get behind the wheel of a fast car you would simply s#!t your pants. NOW GO OUT AND PLAY IN TRAFFIC JACKASS!
