Does anyone honestly believe that Danica can do well in NASCAR. She is a marketing tool for the IRL and will be a cash cow for the Frances. other than that she has proved to be average at the very best.

If she follows her IRL pattern, let's just say that I am glad I am not on anyone's over the wall crew.

I'll just have to take the wait and see route about Danica's driving ability. IMO I really don't know how she will do but I do know that the other driver's that have come over from IRL recently who did better in IRL then her haven't fared to well (ex:Franchitti, Hornish who is just now becoming average at best). So we shall see.

HISTORY TELLS US she's is not, & has not, ever been a car crasher... she does not take risks... she brings the cars home...
additionally, this year, she was BEST OF THE REST behind the 4 red cars... ahead of Kanaan... ahead of Wheldon... ahead of Marco...
so, you're saying the IRL only has 4 decent drivers, and TK and upside Dan are only average???

And how is that different than most of the NASCAR drivers out there. They are point racing most of the time and no caring about winning, but looking good for the sponsors and not making any waves.
Danica is an above average driver in Indy car. Many very good drivers have come from Indy car to NASCAR. Why should she not get a chance? Because of the hype? Well that would rule out most of the drivers that come from other series, wouldn't it?
