agreed. Since we're never going to get a true 43 fastest, go with previous chase drivers locked in (drivers, not owners) and the rest go on time.

so my predictions, Jimmie has tire going down early, has to pit on a green flag. He goes a lap down, fighting his way back up while Mark Martin is leading the race. Ok not my prediction, but the only way the championship can be exciting (If Jimmie wrecks, it's not exciting just an upset).

Did anybody else notice Sebastien Vettel talking to Scott Speed in the background when ABC was talking to Mark Martin?

Just tuned in to hear Rusty Wallace say "Mark Martin will win this championship"...only to hear him say "Jimmie Johnson will win the championship" four seconds later...no wonder people get confused about NASCAR...oh wait...it's back to Martin now...but it will be a "GREAT RACE" no matter what for sure.
