According to Jose Teixeira the Chief Editor of a Venezuelan Auto magazine, E.J. is negotiating with 2 teams. One is owned by a former Champion, the other has drivers that wear red.

The Venezuelan was supported by PDVSA, PDV, CANTV, Aserca Airlines and Grand Prix Tours, among others.

According to the media reports Viso will announce the deal shortly.

So KV and Ganassi? I thought Chip wasn't going to do 3 cars because it was too much stress on the teams resources....

i could see KV and that would be great for Viso as KV is a very solid team that is getting better by the day. But i dont think the team in red is Ganassi. Chip doesnt have anywhere to put a big PDVSA sticker. my guess would be NHLR. crazy to say but they may very well have a 4 car team next year if you think about it. Graham Muto Lloyd and Viso. that team is looking for all the business they can get, if they have the cars then it would make since. Maybe McDonalds is leaving the 02 and they are looking for as much $ as possible just in case those sidepods dont get covered.

side note: i really hope Viso stays in Indycar. He def. has that flair in his driving that makes him fun to watch. With a little more "seasoning" and less mistakes, hes got everything he needs to be a championship caliber driver.

I personally don't think it's KV Racing due to the fact that I think Moraes will be with KV in 2010 and let's remember Moraes and Viso have some history and I don't think really like each other plus I'm still hoping that Paul Tracy will find some money to run more races in 10 beside Indy and the Canadian rounds.

Viso and Coyne would be an interesting pairing because Viso would probably be getting into a team that has a great road/street package and their oval package toward the end of the year was improving. Wilson/Viso team wouldn't be a bad team at all.

thats true. man, a Wilson Viso team on the Road courses would be a threat everytime out esp since the Coyne guys have the RC package down

or Rahal, Andretti(probably not), maybe even Foyt(but he couldn't run 2 cars at homestead but theres prep time now before Brazil/St. Pete)

latin ESPN commentators said that Viso and Ganassi had talks, and they also said that KV was and option.
But de Ferran being a former champion intrigues me and NHL being red cars I can see them as option.
All teams are consider option for that matter.
