Alright, who here would like to make a list of drivers that are officially in/out of F1 next year and where are they going to?

And what are YOUR speculations/expectations for the other drivers that haven't signed on? Or do you see any other driver being in a different series?

I'm waiting to see what happens with the Schumacher rumors. If they prove true, he may well partner Rosberg at Mercedes.

Honestly, I don't believe the Schumacher rumour. The man is soon 41 years old. His physical condition has a big question mark over it. There are much younger excellent drivers available.

Sure, it would be "a great thing" to have him back in F1, but if I were looking at building a competitive team for next season, I wouldn't go first to him to look for a driver. Honestly. I know what he achieved in F1 but his time is gone. What happened this Summer with the comeback rumours was more Luca Cordero di Montezemolo dreaming and screwing up than anything else.

On the other hand, perhaps Kimi knows Michael is the other German at Mercedes and that's why he is being pessimistic about his chances.

If the other German in contention for the seat would be someone like Heidfeld, Kimi could be confident getting the seat over him. But if Mercedes already has decided they will go with Schumacher, it's obvious they would not back down from that once they've decided to go that way.

But I remain highly skeptical about that and, as usual, will only believe it when I see it.

I dont believe for one minute 'Neckbrace' will be back! More likely the stepping down from any F1 involvement at Ferrari is due to potential to work with Todt in the FIA, a move Todt was quick to propose after being elected as the new face of Max.

Even Neckbrace himself confirmed his last comeback talk was fuelled by emotion over reality.

MercedesGP-Nico Rosberg, Adrian Sutil. Don't be surprised if he opts out of his contract over at Force India
McLaren Mercedes-Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button. No offense for Button, but he will always be second fiddle to Hamilton on Ron's team.
Red Bull Racing Renault-Sebastian Vettel, Mark Webber. Probably strongest team going into next year. Look for Red Bull to win championship.
Scudaria Ferrari Marlboro-Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso. Good luck with TW(team wrecker) Alonso.
RenaultF1-Robert Kubica, Hekki Kovalinen, Vitaly Petrov, Robert Grosjean. Grosjean and his hair will probably be gone.
Force India-Adrian Sutil(probably will not be there), Kharin Chandook, Neel Jani, Vitantonio Luizi. Vijay doesn't pay his bills, Sutil said as late as Monza that he is still owed money from the previous year(2008).
Williams-Rubens Barrichello, Nico Hulkenberg. Another team set, if Hulkenberg works out, this team could surprise a few people.
ManorF1-Timo Glock, Luca di Grassi, Vitaly Petrov(and MOM) P. de la Rosa
Campos-Bruno Senna(not looking for much from him) Vitaly Petrov(and MOM)
USF1-Jonathan Summerton, Jose Maria Lopez, Franck Montagny, Jaques Villeneuve, Kyle Busch, Peter Windsor.
Lotus- Jarno Truli, Kamui Kobaishi, P. de la Rosa.

So, tell me guys, does sitting for 10 years on the sidelines not racing, still make you more qualified for a race seat over someone with no experience in the series. How is Pedro de la Rosa so sought after for racing, if he was at Mclaren for 10 years as a backup, and nobody wanted him, but now they all do? I guess sitting on the sides does help, LOL
