You may not wan't to know... but you will end up knowing.

Kinda like I know about Brangelina's latest plot turn because I stand in line at the supermarket.

Eddie Lawson had a brief turn at 4-wheel racing also. He was in the IndyCar series, with mixed results as I recall. Not sure how long he lasted but it was a short stint.

If I remember correctly he was there for more than one season, but I believe that he was somewhat self-sponsored. I remember at one point it was said that he was riding Daytona for Yamaha to pay for his car racing.

Lawson drove for the Rick Galles (Albuquerque car dealer connection) racing team for at least a couple of races, but IIRC, money troubles kept the car from being competitive. I got Lawson to sign a Daytona poster I had from a previous 200 at a Galles open house. He seemed appreciative that someone knew he had been a big time bike racer...

I can't help being aware of Carmichael's exploits in nappy car with all the MX sites I go to.

Where does Carmichael race? Which series? How is he doing? I'm curious.

I remember Schwantz driving them - it's a blight on his name and I try to forget!

Oh man, I refuse to look up details. I think he's racing the pick-up truck napcar series.

And yes I remember KS giving it a try. too. It was real brief.

Ha, that is the perfect description for it. I know exactly what you are talking about. And I'm not looking for detailed stats... just a general idea of how he is doing there.
