The stars (or should I say the American open wheel ladder series) is starting to align themselves. Atlantics can't pay their drivers and the teams are frustrated. I do love the Atlantics but a series that can't pay what they offer should fold.

Sadly I must concur. Brooks (former champ), Team E (former team of the year) and now Newman-Wachs (former champ) have all migrated to Indy Lights because of the financial instability of the Atlantics.

With due respect, Atlantics governance needs to either pay each team what is rightfully owed to them ASAP... or let everyone know that they do not intend on honoring their financial commitments secondary to bankruptcy and allow vendors/contractors/employees/teams to find work that will facilitate some form of financial recovery.

2009 has been a very tough year on open wheel series... A1GP, Formula BMW USA, and now potentially the Atlantics Championship.
