This is a European racing series that treads on ground that Formula One used to run about ten years ago.

There is also a tie in with other sports franchises in Europe as well.

Will SPEED TV ever run anything from this series?

Sebastien Bourdais looks to have found a great team to run on in it.

With Formula One looking increasingly anemic,I was just wondering.

If Soccer was big in the United States than yes. But I dont see SuperLeague Formula on TV in the United States any time soon.

Maybe if they got rid of the soccer gimmick then they would get more attention. Unfortunately it looks like another spec series that will last as long as A1GP.

Most likely would be carried by Setanta, given their soccer ties.

The series ran its last race of its 2nd season today (Nov 8).

Bit late, but all the races were/are aired live on the Superleague website so no one has to miss out due to non tv exposure in your particular Country. tongue wink

Have to say the series has provided some of the best open wheel action of any championship, anywhere. Fabulous cars, familiar drivers (to a majority of clued up OW race fans), & some great tracks. The football/soccer element adds something extra if you're a fan of a particular club, but the quality racing in itself can be 'universally' appreciated regardless. cool grin

*The title went down to the last race & I'm well chuffed with the winner.. best team won. woot smile
