Interesting to say the least. Speedway not for sale. 15 million from Izod. Not to shabby.Layoffs still possible at IMS because revenues down for the Brickyard 400 and the Moto GP.

What I like at the end of the story was the 2.5 million to help the teams out based on car projections.I am no math major and barely graduated high school but means they are projecting 25 cars. Lets hope so!

The article said "about 2.5 million" and "about $100,000 per car. No specifics as usual, I still expect 22 cars at most races.

Current car projections are for 22-26 full-time cars, per Cavin quoting Barnhart on "Trackside". Looking like Penske and N/H/L will both have 3 and KV is looking good for having 2 FT.

Barnhardt was spot on with his projections last year at a average of 22. I would not see how he would be that far off this year.24/26 sounds possible.

Interesting that no one else has the same $15Mil a year figure as Cavin. Every other report including Millers latest say $10Mil.

Interesting that you're making sure to point out how terrible it must be that the league signed this deal... Oh that's right, it's the Brasil guy

Where did he say it is terrible?Given the crusade some have been on the last few days to down play this news at every step of the way; it isn't hard to put 2 and 2 together.

Really, all I said was interesting. Nor did I bad mouth the deal whether $10Mil or $15Mil.
