I gotta agree with RR on this the BMW thing. My vote, however, goes to the Britten. I don't have a pic handy, but that thing was awsome in every way.

Same here, but I'll always have a soft spot for the early 80's bikes.

Any of the bikes that ran when you had no fairing other than a big ol' square plate.
Evil handing, so ugly they're beautiful.

Here's one of my faves:

Current favorite is (of course..) the Ducati 1098 and/or 1198, preferably the Bayliss version.

Of the older rigs, those blue-and-white Yoshimura 'Zooks like Cooley's were sharp, and the road version GS1000S was always stylish.

Of the machines being raced in WSBK now, the Aprilia is perhaps the most wicked-looking device on the grid.

The 1981 factory bikes, Lawson's Kawasaki, Spencer's Honda and Cooley Suzuki, were all very cool bikes in my opinion.

Probably handled like crap though, lol. I actually bought a ZRX1200 as a fantasy - but that thing was HEAVY.

My appreciation for Litre bikes is limited to recent models and by looks only. I am completely ignorant of performance.

That being said, the Aprilia RSV4 is a nice bike.

The Bimota above is also a really good looking bike.

I've seen a few of the new Aprilia RSV4's up close, and they are amazing in person. They look so inviting it is amazing.

And I'm not a total Beemer hater. I actually like this bike which, as with some others, looks amazing in person:

give me the aprilia for personal use.

rolfo, you say you saw the aprilia in person and it's not tiny. yet i read another review on motorcycle-usa that said the bike is smaller than even some 600 supersports.
