Maybe it's just because of this foto, but the idea of BMWs being successful during the early years of Superbike just seems so weird.

The R90S will always be the first and most beautiful of the superbikes. Then they started to look like Transformers.

You can honestly say that this bike is not soul stirringly beautiful? You need an eye exam. Bimotas are nice, but who can afford one?

I know it just an opinion rr60, but that huge chunk of awkward rectangular metal in the middle just turns me off. There are tons of old BMW's floating around in Roma (their longevity is undeniable), but they all look way to tractorish for me. By contrast, the old Moto Guzzi's you see around hold up way better style wise.
