ESPN is reporting from "sources" that DP is close to signing with Junior's Nationwide team to run both there and ARCA. Rick Hendrick's support of her move is apparently the key.

Article also says she signed a three year extension with AGR a while ago, which as far as I know has never been officially announced.

There is a story on SI's website saying Danica and her handlers wants $300,000 for each and every Nationwide or Truck Series race she runs. Danica running 10 truck races would double a team's budget.

Well that's down from the $1mil per race FOX reported she was asking. IIRC, the ESPN article didn't say anything about trucks. Only Nationwide and ARCA.

That was written by Bruce Martin on Sunday, today's story says this:

Contrary to reports that Patrick will make $300,000 a race, sources said she would make in line of the typical Nationwide salary -- between $50,000 and $100,000 a race. "She's not in it for the money," a source said. "She's in it for the experience."

As long as she honors that AGR contract and does he best at every ICS race - I could care less if on her off time she's doing some stock car racing. She's just looking out for her which all racers do and she seems to be getting her way which is a person's dream. I know people are worried that losing her means losing something big in the Indycar Series but many things can change in 3 years.

OMG! How can it not be about the money? Especially, when she has gone on record as saying that enhancing and making her brand grow and become more visible, is her main priority now.

Classic Danicaspeak.
