It is not looking good guys. If Renault pull out this sport is in serious trouble.

This means Force India will have #'s 11&12;!!!
Seriously, even with Sauber, there will now only be 12 teams next year. The new teams weren't brought in to expand the grid. They're here to cushion the blow after the manufacturer's leave. This is bad...

I've been meaning to ask this, do they change the numbers when someone leaves. Didn't Brawn run with 22 & 23 this year. They were a new entrant, and with Aguri leaving that would put them there. Plus I think the number 13.

Weren't these the same manufacturers that didn't want to cap costs 4 months ago? Now it seems like it would have been the way to go, especially if Renault leaves too.

I'm sure Bernhitler WILL be stating something boneheaded as usual Tommy crash. It will be a blow, but maybe some new blood will be good for the sport.

Yup, I hate to say it, but I think Renault is gone from F1 too. (They may stay on as an engine provider though.)

Renault wants to make it four manufacturer pullouts in a year? Ouch. Somebody might want to start trying to find new entrants right about now, because if nobody can buy these teams' remains as Brawn did with Honda, we're gonna have a pretty empty grid in 2010......
