Check this out, GM's Cadillac CTS Coupe. It's a nice looking car and really hot. Everybody just loves it.

What does it have to do with sports car racing?

^ If they used the large four door CTS V in road racing, then I guess they could use the coupe, I guess. Maybe that is what they felt this had to do with Road Racing.

I'm still trying to figure out how "Everybody just loves it" when I'm pretty sure there are a couple of those out there that thinks its boxy shape is pretty fugly could care less about it...

Cadillac has been out of racing for a long time. Slaps the head of rytmitz.

All I saw was the same commercial I've seen on TV - which says nothing about the car's suitability for racing or, in fact, little about the car.

They haven't been out of racing for that long the factory CTS-V program has only been gone from WC for a few years. They'll be back. I personally think a return to ALMS or giving Grand AM DPs a try would be their best bet for truly running against their competitors on the streets. A CTS Coupe in Grand AM GT would be pretty cool though.

I don't see them ever coming back.
