I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Rahal's new series:

"At the Monterey Historics in August, Rahal announced the creation of Historic Motorsport Productions. Rahal owns HMP in partnership with Just Marketing founder Zak Brown and BMW Oracle man Peter Stoneberg and HMP will promote three historic racing events in the USA next year. "

The problem with that would be RA supporting 4 Vintage events in one season, including the late July Kohler International Challenge(formerly BRIC). Vintage does well at RA, but hard to believe they can run 2 (basically)back to back marque events soley based on vintage cars in this economy.
I haven't been able to get any hints out of the RA staff or George B, so time will tell but they aren't denying the Journal Sentinel piece either.

F2000 and Trans-Am, August 6-8. It was on the F2000 web site and their 2010 schedule, but now I see they are not saying stuff about support races. They may have been asked to remove it until SCCA announces the Trans-Am schedule for 2010. It also looks like F2000 re-designed their website as the schedule page is different as well.

^ I saw Trans Am at Portland this year, but not on the short list.

Hmm, I wonder if that could be due to a spectator shortage?

I've heard that Miller and Portland are both on the short list of Trans-Am likely events.

The rest of the TA schedule is supposed to be announced at the PRI show in a couple weeks.
