creanandcrimson, you are exaxctly correct. This is one of many things that need to be done to resurrect open wheel racing.This will take awhile but its going to take awhile anyways for everything to fall in place.

IMO this is one of the most important steps in rebuilding AOWR. We need a way to funnel young talented American drivers towards IndyCar. A clear cut and defined path up the ranks from karts to the ICS will do just that; just as it does for NASCAR.

I find it interesting that Cotmans the man here. What is he freelancing without telling the league about this.LOL. You dont think that this was a group decision?

It really will not matter unless they can start getting grads from Lights into cars instead of pulling them from Europe. Atlantics may produce more IRL, F1, and ALMS grads than Lights will...
