I'm surprised there are still no rumors or anything about a new Nascar game for XBOX 360, PS3, etc. I know all about the Nascar cars in Forza or GT and I know all about Iracing but that doesn't count. I'm talking about a game for all the consoles that is a 100% Nascar game only.

I was sooooooo excited to see EA Sports not renew the Nascar contract. With looking at great XBOX 360 games like DIRT, Forza, GT, it makes me so frustrutated that Nascar doesn't have a game out like that. Could you imagine how cool a Nascar game on 360 or PS3 would be if made like games such as DIRT? I think a game like that is coming, just don't know when.

Anybody have any news or rumors at all?

there will be Nascar in GT5 coming next year..there wont be any other console versions for Nascar of any kind as far as i know..

Horrible. As road racing games, such as Forza and GT, keep improving, NASCAR is technologically stuck in the last century. And it is one of the cheesiest racing games of all time to bring back? Fitting, as the CoT is based on the Lumina of that era.

Maybe Atari can bring back a NASCAR version of Pole Position now.

Or maybe they can reissue this "classic" for XBox 360 and PS3:

there is a nascar game, iracing!, trucks, nationwide, CoT and laser scanned tracks, now they have lowered their prices too with 30 percent

In no other racing game you can log on start a random pickup race and be raced with respect and ppl giiving room (mainly in road racing unfortunately) this makes it worth the money.

I'm talking about a console (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) Nascar ONLY game. Not a pay to play deal like Iracing or an addition into another racing game.

I think it's ridiculous that the most popular form of motorsports in America does not even have their own, decent console game. EA put out a few games, but they were junk. Could you imagine how cool a Nascar only game on the new generation systems would be if done right?

Not all of EA's games were bad. NASCAR 04,05 and 06 were excellent.

The fact that Polyphony has the exclusive rights means it will be a while before any new exclusive NASCAR console games.

Gran Turismo 5 has the rights for NASCAR but it's not an exclusive deal. EA still has the license, but I wouldn't expect a NASCAR 2011. Back in June the President of EA announced they are not currently working on a new NASCAR game for 360 or PS3.

Forza Motorsport 3 features a stock car (I think it's a Ford). Not official NASCAR, but should feel the same.
