It is a good sign but I am still worried seeing as we only know of 2 venues so far. Surfers and now Zuhai. We don't know any of the tracks. Granted a lot we can just guess.
1 25 October 2009 Australia Surfers
2 15 November 2009 China Zuhai
3 06 December 2009 Malaysia Assuming Kuala Lumpur F1 course
4 28 February 2010 South Africa ?
5 14 March 2010 Brazil ?
6 21 March 2010 Mexico Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez?
7 11 April 2010 Portugal Algarve?
8 02 May 2010 Germany ?
9 16 May 2010 The Netherlands Zandvoort?
I just think it is a little late to not have the tracks announced for each round.

Wow, all those national teams...looks a lot like the new teams on the F1 entry list.
Seriously, though, 19's more than enough, even if we're down a few teams. I'll be interested to see who drives for what team. There should be some solid competitors in Ireland, Switzerland, etc.

I saw a report that Brands Hatch isn't on the schedule because A1GP officials were unable to guarantee the race would go ahead. So rather than spend/waste money on promotion Etc... & not have a race, the Brands owners opted to simply not have a race.
A1GP have announced 19 drivers & a schedule but there is still a ton of uncertanty around it.
I saw A report from an A1GP team member over the weekend which basically said that the series is nowhere near in as good a position as the series officials are saying.
One other thing of note is that they still have hardly any TV Broadcasters in place to show the series. The only one I know of is Sky Sports in the UK.

I know that the entry list shows a USA entry, but do we know if it is Andretti? If not Andretti, who will run the entry and either way, who will drive?

I hope the series does well but it seems every year it is just an unorganized mess. This is by far the worst start to a season they've had but I hope it all works out because the racing is always great and fun to watch.
That is a decent schedule and entry list all things considered. It could be soooo much more though. However, I won't complain and keep my fingers crossed that everything works out as planned.
Also, Team Malaysia will be competing from the second round on as their driver F. Fauzy has a prior commitment to compete in the World Series by Renault this weekend. So there should be 20 teams from then onward. The only loss from last season would be Team Labanon, which is a huge shame because Daniel Morad really gave that car some good runs. It will be nice to see Pakistan back on the grid as they never turned up last season. I guess Czech Republic, Canada, Singapore, Korea, etc. are never to return.

Fariuz Fauzy is one of the best examples of lots of $$$$$ but no talent.

The first round of the 2009 / 2010 A1GP season appears to be in doubt with claims the cars are not even on their way to Australia let alone will have the required safety improvements before the opening practice session on Thursday Morning let alone the planned test sessions at Queensland Raceway this Monday.
It has also been reported by the Gold Coast Bulletin that Brisbane Airport has had no bookings of the expected 2 Jumbo's of A1GP cars expected to transport the cars and equipment down under.
This has caused a furious warning from acting Queensland Premier, Paul Lucas, giving A1GP organisers a 24hr ultimatum to guarantee the series cars will be flown from London to the Gold Coast in time for next week's race.
"I'm told that they haven't yet booked the race car transport, but I'm told that they've booked their accommodation and their visas are in process," Mr Lucas said.
"In the next 24 hours we want confirmation to make sure that they get here.

He's won more races than Marco Andretti has in A1GP.. & he's currently 5th in the WSR with 1 win this season so far... oh & has more career wins than Danica Patrick! So maybe not a wowzer.. but not a totally talentless Tim either
