After winning 2 championships ( Star Mazda and
Atlantic Series), what will it be next for John
in 2010?
Will he remain stateside or will Europe open
their doors?
Hopefully, GP3 or the Formula Palmer Audi be
calling.

I'd like John Edwards to go where John Edwards wants to go. I don't really mind if that's European racing or US racing.

I'd like for him to move on to Indy Lights because IndyCar needs all the good Americans they can get, but he's young enough that he could go to Europe next year and come back to the US in a few years and still only be 22 or 23.
Ideally there'd be some sort of "TEAM USA" group working with USF1 that would run Summerton, Hildebrand, and Edwards and others in as many races as they can both inside and outside the US (including IndyCar).

Peter Windsor has talked about driver development and I would like to see Edwards get that opportunity. Let him run in the dog-eat-dog world of GP2 for a year and then get him the second seat at USF1. He'd be a great team mate for Summerton in the second year of USF1 competing. Summerton should get the USF1 seat based on his work in Atlantic this year and his competitive drives in A1GP. My crystal ball is very clear on this Peter, call me if you need some details. PS; As much as I enjoy seeing these two race here in the US, it doesn't help for them to circulate round and round seven times a year in oval racing. Since we won't support open wheel formula car racing at the highest level, they must go to Europe. They're ready.

GP2 is where I'd like to see him, along with Alexander Rossi.

seems to be a good rumor going around on Speed from Pruett (with many quotes from Wachs himself) on Newman-Wachs moving to Indycars, with Edwards

I hope not, until they get a new car, he'd be wasting his time and his talent.

IndyCar! I wanna see a 4-car Newman/Haas/Lanigan/Wachs Racing team with Rahal, Servia, Edwards, and Summerton!
