GT5 A 6 year wait an only have a 65% build to show off doesn't that seem unreasonable? All 3 of the Forza series will be on the shelf since the GT4 an before GT5. Thats nuts, I love GT1-4 but thats a crazy wait an they haven't done anything new or even given you the power to create. Forza 1 was the best thing to happen to racing on a console, Forza 2 made user generated content more accesible an Forza 3 is bring it to a whole new level once again, you still can't even custom paint a car in GT, even NFS lets you do that. The physics in Forza are right on par with GT. Forza offers so many more things than GT its almost unfair. I honestly do believe playing both games if they ever ended up on the same system GT would be over. They are behind Forza 3 introduced rolled, never heard a word about from GT until months after Forza put it out there. an Forza 3 has a releasse date that will be met. In car views GT5 170 I think. F3 every car thats over 400. F3 has the better online.

Since I don't play Forza 3, I can't really debate with you, but what I will say is that I don't care about custom paint. I'm not playing GT5 so I can have the prettiest car. When driving you don't even see the paint. Let's see what GT5 is like when it comes out, then we can compare. I will agree that the wait and delays are annoying.

Don't get me wrong I once loved the GT series played them all an they are where I got the speed i cared over to forza. But forza gives you things GT doesn't engine an drivetrain swaps, you can't say that isn't cool. paint wasn't a big thing to me either when I first started in forza but being able to customize the look of the car has grown on me, an you do see the paint while racing online, just adds another layer to the game. I'll play GT5 if it ever comes out but don't think it will be able to take top spot for me.

Both of them spend a lot more on advertising then actually making a great race sim. I think GT5 will come out on top due to the lack of good hardware for the Xbox. The Fanatec wheel is nice but few have them. Most of the really fast racers on the Xbox use a thumb controller anyway. Not much of a sim.
