So in your personal opinion, which of the 2 racing franchises do you see becoming more successful? and for what reasons?

I think both will continue to be equally as successful on their platforms, but one won't become more successful than the other until one (well, both eventually) cross over to the others platform.

Did they put damage into GT5? If not, then they are behind Forza 3 technologically. That being said, I think Playstation does a better job marketing the GT franchise, and since many casual gamers wouldn't last a lap on Nordschleffe with damage on, GT5 will probably be more successful.

My take: Forza is better, but GT attracts a wider audience.

Actually Lovey-Dovey, at the Tokyo Game Show a couple of days ago, they showed a 65% build of GT5 (which looks pretty impressive for still being not completed) and there was detailed damage.

A big fan of both gaming series but based on what I've seen in trailers and articles I think GT5 will be better than Forza 3.

Which will hit the stores first, GT5 or Forza4?

If it's taking so long that means they are putting in loads of effort.

Ill take GT5 over FM3, if you actaully drive FM3 you see what I mean.

I am not one to jump from game to game. I love GT, I've been waiting for them to improve the AI drivers, and add damage. So I can't wait for GT5. And i am so getting a logitech wheel for GT5. As for not getting around the Nordeschleiffe with damage on, that is what will make me better. On GT3 and 4 i could run solo around a track for hours just trying to get a better time.

GT5 A 6 year wait an only have a 65% build to show off doesn't that seem unreasonable? All 3 of the Forza series will be on the shelf since the GT4 an before GT5. Thats nuts, I love GT1-4 but thats a crazy wait an they haven't done anything new or even given you the power to create. Forza 1 was the best thing to happen to racing on a console, Forza 2 made user generated content more accesible an Forza 3 is bring it to a whole new level once again, you still can't even custom paint a car in GT, even NFS lets you do that. The physics in Forza are right on par with GT. Forza offers so many more things than GT its almost unfair. I honestly do believe playing both games if they ever ended up on the same system GT would be over. They are behind Forza 3 introduced rolled, never heard a word about from GT until months after Forza put it out there. an Forza 3 has a releasse date that will be met. In car views GT5 170 I think. F3 every car thats over 400. F3 has the better online.
