What is collectable depends, to a large extent, on what is available. There are hot collector cars today that back in the '60's and '70's all us gearheads turned our noses up at. Since a lot more of the lesser desirable cars were built, a lot more turn up in today's collections.

Last Christmas, up in Pennsylvania, I saw a Fiero with Horseless Carriage plates on it.
