I can't remember for the life of me where I read it, but there's something floating out there that Yosh Suzuki is moving to WSBK.
Treat it no more than wild-arse speculation though.
I have heard the same - all rumors to my knowledge. I hope they do it, AMA is for the amateurs now.

If it's cheaper to buy a rider's contract out than to run a racing program, the contracts just mean a nice golden parachute; money for nuthin'...

Or they do what factory Honda and Kawi did - force their contracted riders onto the satellite team.

For AMA at this point who really cares and who will be left? Josh Hayes in Yamaha and Tommy Hayden at Suzuki? Possibly Yamaha will move up Herrin or Aquino to SB? Ben Bostrom will finally retire? Now that Mladin is gone what's the draw? I know that DMG was hoping to see Aprilia, BMW, and KTM enter the series but really should they? Only reason for it would be for US Bike Buying Market not prestige of the series.

In terms of WSB, it will be great if KTM enters the series or are they scheduled to enter in 2011? Hopefully Spies will stay for 2010 according to his current contract but now that Haga has given him the championship with his crashes and injury will Yamaha put him on the Tech 3 team. Hope not as next year should be more interesting with a fit Haga, more Motogp castaways and a few other guys showing possiblity to compete. It would be interesting to see Crutchlow on a factory Yamaha in WSB. I'm sure that Aprilia and BMW will be stronger next year as well as Honda and Suzuki. Again this will be the best series out there and Spies wouldn't be guaranteed to run away with it even though I'm sure his fans think so.

Next year Yamaha and Spies will have data at all the tracks - I wouldn't expect him to weaken, although some of the riders are stepping up their games to match his. Only Haga was there (when healthy) at the beginning of the season.
Rea in particular is looking impressive in my eyes.

I saw that - and good for him! I hope he can line up a good ride for next season.
