it's that time of year again. let's throw out what we know about openings and rumoured moves. Beginning with the factory teams.

WSBK:

Yamaha Italia: Spies signed for 2011. Sykes not confirmed, although Meregalli says he wants him.

Ten Kate: Rea and Kiyo almost certain, but biggest rumour is JT's return.

Brux Suzuki: Neukirchner locked in, but word is that Kagayama may be headed to BSB leaving an opening for? Vermin

Stiggy: Rumoured switch to Yamaha from Honda, but no announcement on Haslam or Hopper as yet.

Aprilia: Rumours of a big offer to Colin Edwards. Max is proably set.

Xerox Ducati:
Did I really read that Haga may retire? Nah. Febreze has earned another season, for sure.

Paul Bird Kawasaki: Look set to retain the factory Kawasaki title *snicker*, but will Japan insist on Tamada or allow Birdy to ship him out. If so, might be a landing for someone like Shakey Byrne or Vermin. I can't imagine they'd ditch Parkes, but it's Kwack, so things don't always make sense.

BMW: Neither Corser nor Xaus confirmed, and with Neukirchner locked up for another season, they may very well go with the veterans until 2011. Certainly Troy Corser has done a good job developing the bike.

I have a strange feeling we will see Mladin on a Yosh Suzuki in WSB! From his interview on Wind Tunnel and all the other articles that he has given the past two months, I don't see him sitting still for long.

I'll bet you 2 smile smile he doesn't. I don't think he's been interested in WSB for years until Spies beat everyone. Then ony for a minute. He said, Ben has the best bike, which is a little stab at Spies. The WSB Suzuki was proabaly the fastest bike.

He really has nothing to gain and is leaving the sport well off and healthy.

JT will probably be back in WSB but it wouldn't surprise me if he takes a bad ride and remains in GP, hoping for something better after a miraculous 2010. He said he wouldn't ride junk to make up the numbers but in the end everyone does.

If Xuas is out of BMW but healthy I'd like to see him one a Suzuki. I think he's been on the wrong bike his whole career.

There are now rumors that Yamaha will pull it's factory support for SBK if Spies jumps ship this year with the title, with Stiggy running the bikes instead.....

Ten Kate: Rea contracted thru 2011. I'd look for TK to re-sign Checa if he's the top Honda result...

Suzuki: Neukirchner for 2010

Aprilia: Max is set for 2010

BMW: Corser & Xaus for 2010 (both had a 2 year contract)

And, o'course Spies has signed with Yamaha, but no one knows what the fine details state.

I can't remember for the life of me where I read it, but there's something floating out there that Yosh Suzuki is moving to WSBK.

Treat it no more than wild-arse speculation though.
