These days sportsmanship has very little to do with racing. It's more about sponsorship. AAA would have been out of this stupid Countdown to 1 thing, and that would have been much more important to Force Racing than Robert Hight being out of the Countdown to 1.
I in no way absolve JFR of poor conduct, but I do condemn all forms of playoffs in auto racing. It results in cheap tactics like this and others.

Thank you.

The NHRA starts the playoff/countdown BS and Force works it to get his driver in the top ten and everyone gets upset with Force. Get rid of the WWE BS and go race. Don't blame Force for tweaking the game. Racers do it all the time.

The effect of these team tactics could be greatly reduced if the NHRA would create a rule allowing them to reseed the cars after each round, if potential conflicts like this arise.

Tony Pedregon would have rolled over for Cruz today if he was in that same position. No one had a problem earlier in the year when Daniel Wilkerson let Bob Tasca win first round at Topeka

So they mentioned the NHRA will now recognize the 1,000' record's etc...etc... So does that mean they ARE STAYING WITH 1,000'or is that for all the records till now or when they go back to 1320?? Bascally so there's not a 1 yr hole in the books.

L-D, It wasn't broken. I was referring to John Force.
