Just sour grapes. It's been going on for years, guys lay'n down for a teammate. Tony laided down for Force a couple of times if memory serves me correctly, and Force has always been loud and in your face so nothing new here.

And Tony was quick to point out Force's team orders when John did it today. I guess if Tony had played by JF's rules, he woulda rolled over for Cruz a couple weeks back.

NHRA to investigate what? Way to go Ashley!!! If John or any owner/ driver wants to throw a race, pull their car out, blow it up...so be it. It's their stuff and money. Mike Dunn needs to pull his head out. TP would have done the same thing so get over it.

The only way to avoid team orders or race fixing is to only allow one car per team. NHRA doesn't want that because they won't be filling consistent fields throughout the season.

Who's gonna sponsor a new team with one team owning 25% of the field? That is the problem.

Actually, if a team owner in any other sport had pushed around and manhandled the officials like John did, the game would have been a forfeit. You just don't do that in the NFL, MLB or NBA.

His whole team should have been ejected at that moment and excluded from the final results.

Oh I can hear it now... AJ/Dixon throws race so TS could tie with Big Daddy for USN wins.... just wait for it.

Doesn't matter if you like it or not it's part of the game. Some will do it and some think they keep the "sportsmanship high ground" by not doing it. That is the long and the short of it. Whether you like Force or not doesn't matter. I do agree that Force or any team member should behave like adults and keep their hands to themselves.

If they were nepotistic teammates with team orders, but they aren't.

It kills the creditability of the sport. Who wants to buy a ticket to an event, especially the event which supposedly is the most important of the season, if the outcome is fixed?
