Who would you have doing the drag racing tv? darrell waltrip? lol, page is a legend in broadcasting and mistakes will happen, get over it!...no is not a natural to drag racing, but i would pick him over anybody else (excecpt dave mcclelland of course). and all hail mike dunn!!!
John Kernan is being wasted as a pit reporter while PP yucks it up nonstop.

Paul Page yucks it up because what else is there to do? Top fuel and Funny car have become spec classes. No innovation allowed except may how you set the timers. Drag racing is now about personalities not cars. Take the bodies off and line the cars up and tell me who's car is whose

Very true. They are not quite the unlimited class they once where. What is coming next? The "Car of the Future" for Top Fuel?

Thats the hard part of being a toothless wobbly. I tend to think back when Kenny Safford thought an Olds was the best engine. Or Bob Noice thinking a super lightweight injected Chevy was the way to go. Ask Eddie Hill about his twin blown Pontiac.
I hate to say it but I think the NHRA already has the "car of the future" already legislated in place. I will continue to watch drag racing. But don't attack Paul Page. If he talks about one car he's talking about them all. The only thing different in todays drag racing are the people. I wonder how long it will be before the NHRA regulates them into a toe the line blob of jello?
