I think a storyline that will be interesting next season is the fate of Ducatis not ridden by Stoner. Supposedly the firing-order revision for the GP10 offers much better rideability and if this is the case maybe will see the other 4 Ducatis performing respectably.

In that case, the satellite Ducati might actually turn into a somewhat desirable ride. Might even see some competition for those seats, not to mention the fact that it would improve the mid-pack battles. I for one, hope Ducati gets it right.

The issue I see with Ducati is that they have a reputation of not being very supportive to its customers. While I don't expect a factory to give free support to its customers, the stunt they supposedly pulled on Barros when he rode on the Pramac team was in bad taste.

That was in poor taste but I can't really blame Ducati, in that case they were chasing their first championship. Still, I think it hurts their interests when they do things like that. Why would a strong rider or team want to run a Ducati when there's the chance that Ducati will deliberately knee cap them if they go too fast?

As much as I'd like to see Hayden do well, I don't think it will be before the 1000's return. Can't wait for the tire smoke to start rolling again.

Maybe Bridgestone should copy the Pirelli formula in the first year of control tires in WSBK. I seem to remember a huge amount of tire smoke that year.

Aspar is not happy, been testing with the Blusens machine which is the BQR chassis. Stated he'll prolly get the Moriwaki or Suter chassis to test before making final decision. Or possibly "takeover" the Aprilia project.

To be honest, I thought he already signed with Gresini, but it does not appear to be so.

I think they are just haggling at this point - pure speculation on my part.
