Did Erin run in the dirt stock cars? I though it was the sprints before she tried ARCA/Nascar.

Yes erin ran in the sprints i believe and was the first woman to make an a main in the world of outlaws sprint car series.

And i think that may have been the knoxville nationals in 2003 or 04.

Actually, she won a WOO A main -- on a preliminary night but same cars and drivers. Kinser said she deserved the win.

It's really too bad they rushed her into Trucks and Nationwide -- she didn't look too bad in her first ARCA starts. And some poor "off the track judgement", though I would put most of the blame on Ray -- just my opinion based on age/owner and (possible) pressure involved.

I see Erin and Ray "tied the knot". I bet she can afford to upgrade her equipment now.

April nearly made the World 100 last year, that would be bigger in my opinion because there were 200 cars. She was in 4th of B main (taking top 3) before she had a mishap. I believe she started 8th. I was impressed she looked very smooth.

Nascar fans live in a world of propaganda. They shell out money and drool over their favorite driver like they are some kind of deity.
