I spent all day Saturday at the Grand Prix and took a few shots. If you are in the Pitt area I recommend you go check it out. Beautiful setting, lots of great race cars, lots of great show cars. What would be the best way to let you guys see some of the pics I took? Not sure how to get the pics in the post.

Dude, those photos are horrible. In every one there is some old car blocking the scenery.

I know...maybe if I got a camera that wasn't on my phone they'd be better?

I don't know what track that is, but what a beautiful setting. It looks as vintage as the cars. Horribly unsafe, I am sure, but a perfect setting for those machines.

It is Schenley Park in Pittsburgh. It is only used as a race course for the Vintage Grand Prix. It is a dangerous course but it's just for the vintage cars and most guys don't drive them hard. Beautiful setting though for sure.

code3racing, thanks for sharing those wonderful shots. I'll bet that big red Maserati in photo 137 was one of the best sounding cars there. I was at Le Mans with my dad as a service brat at several of the races from 59 - 65 and got to see a very similar if not the same car, and the sounds it made were intoxicating.

Not only was it one of the best sounding (one of the TVRs was hands down the best sounding to me) but it was one of the hardest driven of the weekend. It was nice to see it being driven as it should.

Some very nice shots and thank you much for posting them. It is a great event and I highly recommend to all who read this that they attend. Check the link that Bernie posted above to get more info as there are may more events than just the Schenley weekend.
