WRC wins TV deal in the US

WRC is going to start being broadcast (tape delay) on HD Theater this Sunday 4 Oct. at 8pm eastern. Plus 5 hours of rally shows before their premier of Rally Ireland. I guess Speed couldn't give up 1 of it's 40 hours a week of NASCAR coverage to fit in WRC. Good job HD theater!

It's freakin awesome. I didn't notice those extra rally programs until I set the DVR for Sunday Round 1 replay. Five to six hours of continuous rally programming is unheard of on cable these days.

I just stumbled onto the program. I had only programmed it to record the Rally Preview and I noticed that the shows are just upscaled, not in HD. Nevertheless, I haven't seen so much Rally coverage in a while on US TV.

I forgot how great WRC is. Youtube clips just can't convey the awesomeness of rally racing.
